Cartoon Project (Semester Exam)
About this project:
This project was about of choosing a famous person or a cartoon and colored it with frases and words that the character said. For example I did this one of Bart from "The Simpsons". I get a photo from the internet and I copied it in a blank sheet of paper. Then with differnet colors as you see, I wrote Bart Simpson around all the head with yellow marker and around all the t-shirt with red marker. Also I had the idea to make the borders of the picture the same as the other parts but with black marker so the picture will have more contrast and look better.
Reflection:
I enjoy a lot this project. First I was very undecided of what picture I'm going to use for my project. In this part, I investigate and start searching pictures and persons that were interesting for me to make this project. Finally I decided for Bart Simpson becuase I like so much The Simpsons and I thought that making this character will be fun and I will enjoy more this project. I had some problem when i was copying the photo to a white sheet. When I finished copying the picture, I notice that I made two lines around the face and the body, like it was in the picture. So Ms. Lopez tell me that to fix that I could write with black marker inside those two lines and she said me that it would look nice. I did that and I later notice that was true what Ms. Lopez had tell me to do. Finally I enjoy a lot this project becuase I thought that making a new thing taht I haven´t done before, would be very fun and I could learn new techniques of painting.

Pop Art Famous Person Canvas
About this Project:
This project was about making a drawing of a famous person in a canvas and painting with pop art technique. First, we used a technique and information that Ms. Lopez had tell us during one class. I made like 16 squares in my canvas as same as in my picture so for example if I draw in square one in the canvas, I will know what to draw by looking at the square one in the printed picture. when I finished drawing "Rafale Nadal", I had to chose a color and made a color value with at least five different tones. This part of the rpoject was the hardest one for me becuase I'm not good at painting so I had problems and I try to solve them with the help of Ms. lopez. I finished painting my canvas project but still I had to paint the background of the picture. I had to chose the complementary color of blue and it was orange. so with the orange color, I painted the background and also the sides of the canvas.
Reflection:
I think this project was challenging for me becuase I am not good at painting and also at drawing faces of famous people. i enjoy this porject becuase it was a very original idea from Ms. Lopez and also becuase we learn a lot that time about pop art so we had to practice it. I fpound some difficulties by making this project like drawing specially the face with the nose and the eyes. I had to erase several times those two parts of the picture becuase it wasn´t the same as Nadal. also I had problems by painting the picture. I had a technique two number the parts from clear to dark in the picture. that help me painting the canvas with the differen color value. But I keep having rpoblems becuase sometimes one day I made a specific color and the next day I made one a little clear or a little darker so I had to paint all the parts with that color tone again and again. Finish the Picture
About this Project:
This project was about founding a picture of whatever theme you like, cut it and then past it in the drawing notebook and finish the picture by coloring the background as you like. I enjoy a lot this project because it was interesting the idea how we chose a picture and finished it by making any background we like and all that stuff. For this project, I chose to cut a car becuase I like a lot cars. Then I paste the picture in my drawing notebook and I colored the background how I like. I id my background like if the car was in the street so I colored the street with black color and the slides with green representing all the grass and the plants that are in a street. Also I made a lot of trees near the street so my picture will look better.

I think this project was interesting and helpful because of different things. First I think it was interesting how we have to cut whatever picture from a magazine or something and then turn it into another environment by coloring and drawing any background you want around the picture in the drawing notebook. Also I think thsi porject was very helpful becuase, we this great idea of Ms. Lopez, we could experience different projects and ways of decorating a picture or drawing. Finally I learn a lot from this prject and it was very helpful to me becuase I learn new techniques of decorating, drawing, and coloring an specific image.
